Hippalectryon Scootaloo

I wanted to participate in this week's MLP ATG theme, which was drawing a pony as a different species or race. While looking up some mythological creatures for ideas, I stumbled across something called a hippalectryon, which is a half horse / half chicken creature. I thought it would be funny to draw Scootaloo as one of these, so I did. It's far from perfect, and I didn't get the emphasis bit down very well, but it's a decent start I suppose.

In other news, this is my first piece of artwork I've submitted, and also the first time I've made any images in GIMP.
